Instructional Designer & Training Manager - The Crack Shack/Savory Restaurant Fund

Led the design and implementation of e-learning curricula for a restaurant training program onto an internal learning management system. Partnered with subject matter experts and utilized e-learning best practices to develop new training content, optimize existing material, and outline learning objectives and benchmarks. Storyboarded, scripted, directed production, recorded voiceovers and provided closed-captions and graphics for training videos. Aligned training materials with learning objectives and existing brand narratives, and ensured learner engagement via captivating, interactive courses that offered multiple avenues for comprehension. Provided consultative support and actionable solutions for restaurant partners in order to facilitate successful delivery of learning programs at the store-level. Implemented assessments and reports to measure effectiveness and allow for data-driven improvements. Worked alongside the training team to organize and lead new store openings and supported ongoing training and development of leadership teams.

Web Experience Manager - Specialized Bicycle Components, Inc

Ensured an elevated online presence of our physical retail locations through locally authentic websites, detailed local listings, robust digital communication tools, and digital marketing. Designed and implemented websites for 30+ retail locations across the country. Managed systems responsible for integrating real-time store inventory with each website, leading to a direct increase in store revenue through online ordering. Created, executed, measured and optimized localized digital ad and email campaigns to drive traffic to e-commerce and recruiting platforms. Worked with multiple stakeholders across the company in a cross-functional environment and utilized existing brand assets to guarantee each location’s digital presence properly aligned with the global brand. Oversaw timelines and prioritization of next steps for multiple projects at once in order to launch programs on schedule for each new location or acquisition, maintaining the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities as needed. Hired, trained and led a team of Digital Coordinators and designed systems for them to efficiently assist with the above responsibilities as the company rapidly scaled their physical retail presence.

Provided multi-channel technical support while acting as the voice of the customer by communicating all necessary feedback, issues and inquiries to cross-functional teams in order to constantly improve the customer experience. Remotely diagnosed and helped troubleshoot technical problems with our smart ovens and the overall integration of the Tovala app, website, oven software and back-end database, while communicating issues back to the proper teams as needed. Maintained a CSAT score of 98% satisfaction by always providing clear, empathetic communication and timely issue resolution. Assisted with the training and development of new team members and the restructuring of the training program during the transition to an entirely remote environment.

Assisted with early stages of building the Crack Shack brand and went on to help with the opening of 10+ locations. Managed all store-level operations in Encinitas including staffing, scheduling, training, invoicing, inventories, payroll, health insurance, front and back-end POS management, and coordination of on and off-site catering and events. Cultivated guest relationships by anticipating their needs and always providing and encouraging an exceptional customer experience at every touch-point in the restaurant. Always encouraged a positive culture while constantly coaching and developing team members, providing guidance and leadership that motivated them to contribute constructively to the team, the customer experience, and their own overall growth.
